Solve combined work problems. Three modes: find the time for A and B to complete a job together (1/a + 1/b = 1/t), or given the combined time and one worker's time, find the other's. Shows rates, combined rate, and each worker's contribution percentage.

Examples

1.1/4 + 1/6 = 0.25+0.167=0.417, t=1/0.417=2.4h

Result: 2.4

B=6h, together=2.4h → find A

1.1/t − 1/b = 1/2.4 − 1/6 = 0.417 − 0.167 = 0.25, a=1/0.25=4h

Result: 4

Frequently Asked Questions

1/t = 1/a + 1/b where a and b are the individual times and t is the time working together.

Both workers work independently at constant rates, and their work does not interfere.
